RUAHINE at sea
Medium: Black & White Negative
The completion of RUAHINE (1951) enabled the reintroduction of New Zealand Shipping Company's regular four-weekly service London/Curacao or Kingston/Panama/Wellington or Auckland. A One-way run took 34 days. In later years additional calls were added to increase the service’s attractions - including Kingston, Tahiti and Pitcairn on southward runs and Port Everglades and Bermuda on northbound.
