Life on Board |
I believe that in June 1961 when I was just 3 years old. The Canton was the ship that I came to the UK on with my parents. We travelled from Bombay to london via Aden and Malta. I believe we arrived at Tilbury London. I would love to know more about this ship.
My Dad was carpenter on this ship, Canton in 1938
His name was Ronald Dingwall Anderson
Just found out. I went to Hong Kong on this ship 1951 I was 9 months old
Would like to learn more of this ship. My grandfather Captain Geoffrey Stable retired from her in 1951 when i was about 10 years old and a celebratory lunch was held on board. Anyone with info please send. Would like to know more of the history.
