09/12/2021 11:35:47My Dad’s ship through a lot of WW2. Able seaman Edward Hanlon. He was RN a gunner. Was at operation Anvil, special operations, Bari soon after bombing and pacific fighting Japan. Hearing poor due to guns. Travelled to South America and New York. Passed in 2016

08/12/2023 14:16:44My family - father, mother, brother and myself travelled on this ship from England to Australia in 1952. We became known as ten pound poms as that was all it cost to bring a family to Australia at that point of time. The ship wasn't in the best of conditions when she brought us but we arrived safe and sound. Her life was ended three years later.
