Cruising

In 1904 P&O introduced "Cruises" to their schedules as a commercial response to the need to fill berths in the "low season" for passenger liner voyages. The Orient Steam Navigation Company started cruising some years earlier in 1889. With the advent of cruising, the design of the posters focused on exotic destinations and service all the way.
