Description:
COLOMBO as she appeared during the Crimean War, when she requisitioned and served as transport ship. She carried Christmas mail and provisions (seen here with dead rabbits and birds hanging from the spreaders) to Balaclava and was affectionately known as 'Santa Claus'.
