STRATHAIRD was the second of the five "White Sisters" built for First and Tourist Class passengers on the India and Australia Mail Service. Dixon's painting was used to illustrate both STRATHAIRD and STRATHNAVER.

09/12/2021 11:35:17I was a Quartermaster onboard the Strathaird for maybe 6 trips to Aussie about 1950 {have to look up my discharge book} at the time Ruth & family traveled to Aussie,, Nobby Clark {age now 90} immigrated to NZ 2003
