Louise Sara began her sea career as a cadet with P&O Cruises alternating between college and sea phases for three years. She qualified as an Officer of the Watch, then Chief Officer in 2006, before joining P&O Ferries in 2008, having her first son, and gaining her master’s certificate just six weeks later in 2009.
Louise's first command was relief captain on SPIRIT OF BRITAIN, then master on EUROPEAN SEAWAY. In 2018 she was promoted to senior master on PRIDE OF CANTERBURY. She is a Master Mariner and a younger brethern of Trinity House. Captain Louise is a true wonder woman of the waves, as she deftly combines being a mother and a seagoing master.
