Message reads, 'We have just travelled 350 miles leaving 339 still to do we should get to Bombay at 11 o'clock. Have just had our last afternoon tea onboard the Peninsular. We have felt the time rather heavy the last two or three days and will be glad to give up our sea legs tomorrow.'
