This is one of four paintings commissioned by P&O from the artist, David Cobb, to commemorate the part played by the company's ships in the Falklands Campaign in 1982 . NORLAND is depicted in San Carlos Bay on the 24th May 1982, narrowly avoiding the devastating force of two 500lb Argentinian bombs.
