On Their Own - Britain's Child Migrants
New travelling exhibition 'On their own – Britain’s child migrants' a collaboration between the Australian National Maritime Museum and National Museums Liverpool, UK.
This exhibition tells the story of the British children – more than 100,000 – who were sent overseas by charitable and religious organisations, in the belief that their lives would improve. This exhibition also has an online component where you can join in the discussion with others from around the world.
